MFR is providing sensors that are 1000 OHM, platinum 385 curve RTD.

With Andover controllers we typically use 10K type3 thermistors for temperature sensors.

Question is how the RTD sensor will work with Andover.

thanks

Get a 3rd party board RTD 10K to 1-5v or 4-20mA or bacnet or whatever you can use.

I would give Andover a call. Their controls ought to be able to use RTD's in lieu of Thermistors.

I could be wrong though...

From an old Andover guy:

KiwiMace has the only answer.

Go to and find the T85U transmitter, gives you 4-20 mA out.

Better solution is to get the 10K type 3 thermistors that the Andover system was designed for.

Andover inputs can't be made to read RTDs directly.

Good on ya,

Goober Dave
