Ansys error message

Hi All,

I do often perform non linear analysis using hyperelastic models.
form time to time after the solution is obtained I can get the deformed shape but not strain or stress data. If I try i get the error message (fir example if I want the elastic energy)

the requested EPEL data is not available
The PLNS command is ignored.

Other times, strating from scratch, everything goes smoothly.

Any idea?

Hello,

I would check if element solution is on (outres command)
Then see if the used elements support that kind of results. Some elements can support EPEL but the results must be requested.
