Are 317LM and 317LMN ASME approved Materials

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if 317LM (UNS S31735) and 317LMN (UNS 31726) are ASME pressure vessel code approved or recognized materials available with "SA" designations?

I did a quick review and the materials above are not listed in ASME Section II, Part D. There may be a Code Case, I will check on it.

UNS 31726 is listed in SA 240-97. I could not find UNS 31735.

317LM is UNS S31725.

What product form (i.e. plate, pipe, forging) are you looking for?

Thanks Guys,

I had a typo there......sorry. Actually I am writing a German to American alloy translation page and UNS S31725 is essentially equivalent to German alloy 1.4449. I wanted to add a comment in my guide as to whether or not the ASME recognized all the US equivalents of the German grades. I'm not looking for any specific form of this alloy.at least not yet. Thanks for all the help.
