Just wondering how many other engineers are using the new ASCE 7 Hazard Tool put out by the ASCE. I've got to say I'm pretty impressed, they should have put this out there ten years ago.

They've had it, or something like it, for quite a few years.
(Edit: Sorry I thought you were referring to the USGS tool)

Am i correct that if you subscribe (pay) the website opens up to show all risks (wind, snow, ice, seismic, etc)? or is that info only for certain locations.

I could see the guest information being limited.

Aside from flood information, I don't see what this really gets me that I can't already look up in ASCE-7 quickly or isn't already provided with the USGS seismic data tool.

Anyone got a sample of the full report printout? EDIT: Found this which describes it well enough:
Professional Engineer (ME, NH, MA) Structural Engineer (IL)
American Concrete Industries

Its the snow load that always gets me, the national map is usually no good for most of the western US. Really it comes down to your local building dept.
