Hi all,
Does anyone know if the Sds "design 5% damped spectral acceleration parameter at short periods..." has an equivalent in AS1170.4?
Assuming it is equivalent to KpZCh(T) where Ch(T) is taken at short periods (i.e. at its maximum value) ASCE7 and AS1170.4 don't compare well in regards to out-of-plane forces on walls and for diaphragm forces.
Any info greatly appreciated
