Hi!
I have already searched in ASTM the properties (Yield Strength, Yield point, etc) in order to see if a tubing of ASTM A513 can be used as support part in an enviroment where air is 220°C (428°F) but no results I found. As not only this tubing will serve as support but also as a road for a little slide part (a little round part will run over the fixed tubing) I want to be sure that material is ok. I chose A513 because is a standard for welded tubes and subequently drawn over a mandrel, thereby improved surface roughness is high and will be useful for my purpose. I have already searched in ASME (part of stress list) and nothing I found. Do you know where can I find properties to know that? Do you believe A513 tubing can support that temperature without any problem?
Thanks
Saver
