Hi,

Considering ASTM A29 standard, table 3 and 4, having "when maximum of specified elements is" column, what are "range" and "lowest maximum" column used for and what do they mean?

Range is the difference between the upper and lower limits of a particular element.

Lowest maximum is the lower limit of the above range as mentioned in the spec.
