Auto Balloon NX 8.5

After I Auto balloon a view in drafting I would normally place the balloon in a suitable location.
If the assembly gets updated for various reasons the drafting becomes out of date. when I update the drafting views the auto balloons move from where i positioned them.
Is there a way to fix these positions.

Manual ballooning does not seem to work for me . The procedure I used in NX5 was manual balloon a view and update parts list ,it would then populate the balloons with the correct number.
In NX 8.5 I cannot get the manual balloons to populate when I use the same method .Is there something I am not doing correctly?.

You can position your balloons relative to a view (using the positioning tool (after placing them)or just rightclick and then select "associative to view".
And the behavior you are describing with the manual adding and automatic populating is still working for me in NX8.5
You do have to take care, while placing them, that the balloon leader is connected to the component (either an edge or a face of the component itself).

I have just added the variable and now manual ballooning works.
