I'm looking for alternative options for wrap curing rubber sheeting in the autoclave. I currently use Nylon fabric but we often only get 2-3 cures out of it before we have to dispose. I'm after something more resilient so that we can get a longer life from our liners.

We always used closely woven, high end count cotton fabric tape for this type of application. It's more expensive but very much longer lasting. For the life of me I can't remember where we used to buy it from.

In the 80s and 90s, my days in hose, bladders and autoclaves, we also used nylon. Three cures was max. We also used cotton but, found it adhered to the bladders. Perhaps the thread count was not high enough. We also used aramid wraps but, $ always prevented us from continuing.
