Automation Scope Table

Hello,

I want to make a movement table for a scope. I basically just want two axis movements, one in Z (vertically) and one in Y (Horizontally perpendicular to the user), don't need X movement.

Z movement = 80mm so 40mm up & 40mm down.

Y Movement = 40mm so 20 left & 20 right.

Just wondering are there any off shelf mechanism with motors or actuators and a table (150mm x 150mm square) that I can buy?

The weight on them will be around 15-20 kg and with a SF of 4 they will be about 80kg. The space is a bit tight as above, if nothing works out I am going to use some gears and motors and make the table (hopefully not too expensive).

Any suggestions and advice would be great.

Plenty of linear stages out there to search through. Cost will go up sharply with accuracy. Go through the Misumi automation catalogue and you will get an idea of what you can get
