basic understanding of time waveform 1

i am looking for any basic information on how to understand time waveform i have taken some practice readings on a desk top fan 400ms 1024 samples, 800ms 8192 samples etc.i have printed the file from universal technologies inc but i cant make head or tail of the spectra they show. can anyone please help
