Greetings
I would like to know if you can help me with this problem:
I am design a Jib Crane of 5m Span and 5Tn of lifting load.
And 4.5m of mast.
I obtain two forces in the top of the mast for the pin, 18Tn of shear and 11Tn of tension.
I need to know what is appropriate type of roller bearing tha you can suggest me for the pin.
I choose Tapered roller bearings, because of the ratio of values forces both in the axial and the radial direction. But this type of roller bearing can work in pairs and not single.
I read about this in the SKF website and the FAG website, but i don't have a a good concept of this.
Does someone can help me about it?
Because i just want to use only one roller bearing.
Is ther another type of roller bearing that can fix with it.
I will appreciatte your answers
Thanks
