Best way to Sychronize a Master Model attribute with the Drawing "SH_NUMBER_OF_SHEETS" val

NX 7.5 - We'd like to have a part attribute in the Master Model that captures the value of the "SH_NUMBER_OF_SHEETS" attribute in the Drawing, any idea?
The original plan is to use NXOpen API for that if there's no other solution but we would welcome any solution that does not require automation.
