I need to reformat the appearance of the inserted BOM on the face of my CATIA dwg.

I need to modify not just the cell lengths, but also the font, font size, cell height, justification of text with cell, etc. Does anyone know how I can get started on this?

I found the CATAsmBOM.CATRsc file, but it only deals with cell length.

Hello,
BOM generation uses current font settings ie. modify font in text properties bar before generating BOM

Regards Timo

Timo,

Thank you for your response!

Yes, I know of the "font default" action. However, I am looking for a way to permenantly change the BOM's that are generated. If I make a change to any of the children components, the BOM will regenerate back to the original form. I am still looking for a way to change cell hieght and lock in these characxteristic. Is there a way to disconnect (or isolate) BOM tabled?

Thanks,
Ken

There is no way today (V5R10)to save a BOM-format and reuse it on another drawing (that I know of). Does anyone have any ideas?

Hello!

I've got a problem with BOM, but not in CATIA dwg.

I want to know if there is a way to put the catalog's attributes in a BOM.

Can I just use the attributes I have in properties box?
Can I visualize the catalog's attributes in a BOM?

Thanks!

Regards.
Everton.
