Bolts din 933 with nuts din 555 C? 2

greatings, I have the following question about a replacement of a nut din 934 cl 8 M16 for a din 555C cl 10, its is permissible to do this change usn the same bolt din 933 M16 (length x) cl 8.8

Hi, I think you should go to ISO 4032 Class 8 (most DIN regarding bolts and nuts are withdrawn). Take a look at the Wurth catalogue

Yeah, the DIN philosophy of nuts being "stronger" than screws is not something I had heard of until just a couple of years ago ( I work in the USA ).
