im looking for (sources on) thermal conductivity data of contemporary high perf./racing brake pads. can anybody help?

That is something you are going to have to measure as it's unlikely to be a specified criteria.

I would characterize it more as being proprietary information, insofar as design criteria and construction are concerned, coupled with the need to actually test/characterize the performance IRL, simply because analysis is always based on an abstraction of reality, and modeling things to the point of exactly matching reality is often more expensive than just testing it.

there is a plethora of info/papers on lokomotive, aero, and organic/natural fibre based compounds. where to look for high perf. stuff? surely there is something out there.
