This may be a stupid question, but I'm new to solid works, but definitely not new to CAD. I have two "cut-extrude" sections with the same error: "Warning, could not find face or plane" How do I fix that?

SBaugh, Thanks so much. There it was staring me in the face all along, Duh.

Another unrelated question. How do you make a dimple in sheet metal. I assumed it would be using draft and linking the thickness to it but either I'm doing it wrong or I'm on the wrong track?

"Dimples" would be a good way to introduce yourself to sheet metal palette features. Look in the help unde "Palette Features".

In the default sheet metal palette, you'll find all kinds of embosses, lances, and extrusions to play with. Chances are you can get what you want by modifying one of them.

And I'm available for consultation,
but remember your way in is also my way out

Hey good Idea! I'm sure I "saw" the "feature palette" in the turorial, but I forgot about it.

Thanks
