Can anyone point me to a source for bulk densities of solids like limestone, pebble lime, fly ash, sodium bicarbonate, and soda ash? The best method, of course, is to test the actual material to be stored, but this is often impossible at the quotation stage. I am looking for reasonable values to use for developing pricing when material properties are not available from customer.

Ppeng01:
Google bulk densities, and look for tabulations of same. Ask product suppliers.

Thank you for the CEMA references. They will do nicely.

It is sometimes helpful to get the MSDS sheets on the product stored.
