CAD Graphics Card

Hi
I'm currently putting together the spec for a new computer but I'm not a gamer, I'll be using it for 3d cad, rendering and photoshop - plus watching DVDs.
I intend on getting Vista but am struggling to find a DirectX 10 compatible Cad card. Does anyone know of any other than the hugely expensive FX Quadro 4600 & 5600?

If no others are currently available does anyone know how the new GTX 8800’s will perform when used for those applications? Or any other DirectX 10 cards for that matter such as the ATI 2900’s???

The 3D CAD system you intend to use will dictate which card should be used for best performance. Each/most CAD companies have a recommended card section on their website.
