Can ASME PCC-2 be used for nuclear class 1, 2, 3 piping and equipment repair?

It's not excluded by the scope and some of the articles appear to reference Section III. However, beyond that I'd say you'd need to check for "jurisdictional authority." In other words, ask, especially if it's Class 1 (reactor coolant pressure boundary piping.) I'd think I'd want to just replace rather than trying to justify repairing that.

Ask the national board and the jurisdiction. ASME does not get involved in repairs. Genblr
