Hi my friends
Can a concentric reducer be used on a flare line, or should only an eccentric reducer be used? and why
is there any spec. or standard that explain it
Thanks a lot

Reducers going which way?

I.e. smaller to larger in direction of flow or the other way around?

Large to small must be eccentric (bottom flat) to allow any liquid to flow towards the flare KO drum.

It's just good design practice. Codes and Standards don't explain everything.
