Can you please elaborate on the problem of inspection and ultrasonic testing in case of skirt support on a small diameter cylinder @r6155

UT can be made only by dismounting the PV, and depends the height of the skirt because you can only access with hands (like a handhole, no manway). Also depends of nozzles in the head.

Visual inspection: same as UT.
Small diameter PV can be mounted on structure (no skirt, no legs)
