Hi
I am creating drawing views using AUXVIEW2 - QUICKDRAW.
The current axis in space mode defines the view plane, eg a front view in quickdraw defined as XY uses the XY plane of the current axis in space mode as the view plane.
This is straightforward, but I dont understand what defines the direction of the view onto the plane. It does not seem to be related to the direction of the Z axis in space mode as you would expect. At the moment im just guessing and creating new views when I dont get the direction I want.
Anybody any ideas?
Thanks for your time!

Are you using First Angle or Third Angle projections?

Im using third angle, but this doesent seem relavant.
I am creating views perpendicular to faces on a multi faceted solid. To do this I create an axis on the face, with the z axis perpendicular, make this axis current, then swap to draw mode. Using qickdraw with the front view defined as XY, I create a front view. Sometimes the view is looking perpendicular onto the face as I want, other times the view is still perpendicular but looking from the other side of the solid - not what I want. It does not seem to be related to the direction of the Z axis on the current axis on my solid, and I get an unpredicatable result.
