Can anyone tell me if you can use VB6 within CATIA V5? Natively it uses VBA which does not appear to use PropertyBag's.

If you can use VB6 within CATIA V5 then how do you do this?

Thanks

Not being a catia person...don't shoot me i use proe ;-)
and why proe doesn't have vba is beyond me.

but in vb6 in design ..under project....references
there should be some catia librarys add them

then use the object browser f2 to see what you can use
it more than likely will not prompt you with syntax
like it does with vb6 objects.

you'll find some relating info if you search for a autocad ,autocad vba site ...1st hit under acad/vb6

hth....generally what i do is have vb6 extract info from proe and then use that for modifying or creating data.
