Good morning all,
I wonder if you can share experiences about the neutralizer amine injection system used for your CDU overhead line?
Many facilities are still using conventional slotted angle quills for this application. As known, these can present several limitations, including:
- inconsistent mixing and flow of the chemical;
- Uncontrolled atomization and wide range of droplet sizes;
- increased risk of localized corrosion at the overhead line;
- improper or inefficient neutralization of the overheard CDU stream;
I wonder if someone has experience with the use of steam atomizing spray nozzles for this particular application. Any info on advantages, limitations and issues encountered would be appreciated.
Thanks in advanced for your support.
