Hi there,

I need to create a centerline at the midpoint of a bend rod, but NX doesn't recognize a bend rod as a circle.
Does anyone has a idea to create one?
I tried to lay a sketch over it and project the curve, but also of a projected curve NX can't create a centerline.
I created the part with an helix, two sketches and a sweep.

See picture for what i exactly want.

Thanks in advance,

Center mark should do the trick. Or maybe look at your selection filter, should be entire assembly.

Best regards,

I use the command "Center Mark" and selection filter is entire assembly, it just does'n recognize the circles as a circle.
I've seen it before that NX has problems with bend rods or tubes.

Thanks Cowski, that was the solution. I can create center marks now, and also the tangent snap point with dimensions is working now.

(I tried the tube command before on this part but that didn't work because the connection between the helix and the rest of the sketches were not tangent. After fixing this with the curve bridge command the tube command was working fine.)
