Closed Loop Refrigerant System

Is there any water formed in a closed loop system of refrigerant in a refrigeration system?
I have seen the filter drier used in this system between condenser and expansion valve.
Is the natural cooling process forming water inside the tube of a closed loop system?

(Automotive A/C are the ones I'm familiar with and those systems always have a drier)

"By design" no, there is no water.

But the reality is that automotive A/C compressors always have a shaft seal, seals are not perfect, and that imperfection can lead to either refrigerant leaking out, or air and moisture leaking in, depending on whether the pressure inside is higher or lower than atmospheric, and that will depend on conditions, bearing in mind that such a system is not always running and might be sitting outside overnight at -50 C.
