Hi,

Does anyone in the forum has some good literature on Cold Box Heat Exchanger.

If yes, then please do share.

"Cold box" denotes an insulated environment in which cryogenic equipment (heat exchangers, pumps etc.) is installed, for preservation of cold. There are several types of exchangers used in cryogenic processing: Brazed Aluminum (BAHX), stainless Shell & Tube, Printed Circuit (PCHE), and Spiral Wound Heat Exchangers (SWHE).

AIGA has standards dedicated to Perlite insulation and Design/Operation of cryogenic enclosures (see the last two links below). Try Google-ing the web sites of CHART, Linde, Kobelco, Air Products, Fives Cryogenics, etc. for more information.
For BAHX, there is ALPEMA standard which covers design and construction of Brazed Aluminum exchangers.
