Hello Sebastian,

Attached is a snapshot of the first part of my color pallet file.
We have set the first 20 colors to have names and are found in the favorites pallet.
Not sure if the location in the file matters.

Regards
Jurgen

I was able to enter the correct colors.
The key to success was put own colors by sotware not by notepad.
But it was realy long way, because I must save each of change on CDF.

I have two big problems now.
1. What a set NX to start with my own colors palette after first run and start creation new part.
2. If I send my part to customer/supplier with my own color, but he will be has standard colors palette.
The part will be has wrong colors.

How can I resolve this problem?
The only thing that comes to my mind is send my CDF with parts.

Thanks for anserws.

New part born from a template.
You can set in the customer default the path of your CDF, but if the template has a differente scheme, the part that born doesn't inherit your CDF.
Then you have to set your color schema editing the template.
Parts sent to your customer or supplier use own color scheme.
The problem is if your supplier or customer, create an assembly starting from own template that don't have your color scheme inside.
You have to send the CDF file also and explain them how to import your color scheme.

Thank you...

Using NX 8 and TC9.1

The color pallet is stored inside the part. So if you send someone your part your color pallet will be in the part.
Of course once your customer changes the color pallet and saves the part then he cannot go back to yours unless you send him your CDF file.
You need to modify your seed part/assembly to have your new color pallet inside of it.
