Colors of derived curves in patterns

I have some patterns that have derived curves in them. In the part file I used part painter to color these lines to their desired color. In the assembly when the pattern number is increased, the curves increase with the correct color. When I go into the draft view and use the view shading in V18, the colors of the curves do not come through. They remain black while all other parts show the correct color. I have tried using Edge Painter in the draft file to color the lines, but the colors do not update when the pattern number is increased.

Hi,

AFAIK that is not possible. The draft does not have the
option to show curves (only sketches, surfaces ...) and
thus none can be displayed and coloured

You can show curves in the draft file. You just have to go into the properties and enable all constructions. Then you can select which ones to show.

Hi,

yup, I've just overlooked that. In draft it's not listed
as seperate item, seldom used so get's forgotten ...
