Column Detailing in Moderately Ductile Structural Wall Systems - AS3600-2018 - CL14.7

When undertaking a design of a moderately ductile shear wall system in accordance with section 14 of AS3600, table 14.3 specifies that “Moderately ductile structural walls designed in accordance with Section 2.2 of this standard and Clauses 14.4 and 14.7 of this section”

If the drift induced moments and shears arising from frame action are design for and gravity P-delta affects due to building sway are considered in the design of the columns is additional column detailing required for a moderately ductile shear wall system in accordance with 14.5, or can the main body of the standard be followed?

Given that the walls take the majority of the seismic lateral load in a moderately ductile shear wall system, it isn’t a combined system, so does section 14.5 need to be complied with when detailing the columns. Or should it be interpreted that the columns only require the additional detailing to section 14.5 when an IMRF is adopted (no major shear walls, only columns & beams in sway frame) and the frame takes the majority of the seismic load?

The commentary to AS3600 CL14.4.3 states that if the 'gravity frame' attracts more than 20% of the lateral earthquake load design actions in any given direction it is recommended to designed as a moment resisting frame and detailed in accordance with the relevant clauses. Is the intent of the code that if the columns within the building system take less than 20% of the total earthquake force, they can be considered as 'gravity only' and do not need detailing to CL14.5 & may be detailed in accordance with the main body of the code?

This is my understanding.
 
Yes this is also my understanding.
If the column/slab and/or columns-beams system (MRF) attracts less than 20% of the overall earthquake forces, they do not need special ductility detailing, but will need to be designed to accommodate the earthquake drifts, i.e. seismic loads with mu=1 and sp=1 and P-delta effects associate with such drift.
