Can I combine dimensions from the model in a single drawing annotation?
For example, I have a part with some counterbored holes, but the counterbores have to be dimensioned unconventionally. The depth of the counterbore is not dimensioned, rather, the depth of the through hole that is not counterbored is dimensioned. Thus, a feature callout cannot be used to annotate the drawing, because SE does not recognize it as a single feature. What I would like to do is to combine the two diameter dimensions to show '(DIA)8 THRO, C'BORE (DIA) 15', with a separate dimension showing the thickness of the diameter 8 hole. Obviously, I can type the value in, but I would prefer to use a model dimension, to avoid the drawing becoming incorrect if the model is modified. I have attached a screen shot of what I can do, but not of what I would like to do.
Regards,
John
