We have a gentleman here who has had a problem bringing in components to his model and they are brought in on the "Hide" side.
It can be a new component to the model or an existing component in the model. It behaves the same either way. He says this has been an ongoing problem for months and that he is just tired of it. Would anyone know a solution to this? I tried looking in Customer Defaults and Preferences but nothing caught my eye.

Thanks

When you say that the Components come in as 'Hidden', does this mean that when you go to the 'Show' command that you will see the Components and you have the option to select them so that they are now visible?

To an Engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

When he brings them into his model he doesn't see them, he can see them in his Assembly Navigator tree and either click on it from there to make it visible or do a Show All. He has been living with it but today it's bothering him because he is bringing in dozens of screws and other components.

Once again thanks for your help and hope you are enjoying the holiday season.

Have you checked to make sure that the Components are being placed on layers which are visible? Also have you tried to do a Regenerate the work view or perform a 'Fit' operation?

Yes they are coming in on visible layers and are coming in where expected. Reference sets are correct also.

Try Format>Layer Visible In View>Reset to Global

This has fixed the problem form in the past.

make sure the load options are set correct.
Expand the "scope" tab in the "assembly load options" menu and make sure "load" is on "All components"

Thanks to Jerry1423!
It was the Load Option issue.
Thanks to everyone for their help. And I hope you all have a good new year!
