compression stress limit in corewall

hello,

I am checking the compression stresses under ultimate combinations in a corewall according to aci318.
What is the concrete stress compression limit (function of f'c) that should not be exceeded ?

Are you referring to the compression stress limit that triggers special boundary element reinforcing? That is 0.2f'c per ACI 318-11 21.9.6.3.

You also need to consider the slenderness of the element, particularly when there is a free end of a wall. eg: door openings in a lift or stair core.

In Australia we use strut-tie modelling and check the capacity of the strut using wall design techniques.
 
thank you. the thing is that I am checking an inclined wall, the software I am using does not give an integrated force for inclined shapes.
Thus I am checking the compression stresses of the wall and would like to verify that it is not exceeded. I verified by hand calculation that it is working but would like to confirm. Therefore I posted the above thread
