Is it possible to assign compressive strength to a contact between two surfaces?

With damage property for contact I have defined normal (tension) and shear strength, but I don't know how to add compressive strength.

For normal behavior I have used hard contact, but I would like to have the same behavior for compression as for the tension. That means to have some compression capacity and then when it is lost to have hard contact between these two surfaces.

Any advice?

Have you considered film condition?

I am not sure film condition is usefull in this situation. If I understand it good, film condition is used in heat transfer analysis. I am using Abaqus/Explicit.

My mistake, you are right.
Have you considered Gasket elements?

You think it is possible to use it in Abaqus/Explicit?
