We have the concrete floor finishing requirements within our master cast-in-place concrete specification Section 03 30 00. But most architects want us to give them a separate Section for concrete floor finishing. So I am going to make a master Concrete Floor Finishing Section 03 35 00, and remove the floor finishing paragraphs from Section 03 33 00.
Question:
Is it ok to put only the finishing requirements in this Section 03 35 00 (example: where steel trowel type finish is required, where wood float finish, and the required tolerances) but not put any other concrete requirements in this Section (i.e. concrete strength, additives, curing, concrete testing, etc. would all be in Section 03 30 00 Cast-in-Place Concrete). What is usually included in Concrete Floor Finishing Section?
