Have a butterfly valve leaking by that needs to be replaced. It is on the suction end of a condensate pump so it likely experiences transients upon startup. It was specified with full-face flanged ends. Was curious if a valve with similar specifications of lug-type would be too flexible, based on others experience. Of note the original valve was rated Class 125, we would probably go Class 150 based on availability.
This is my first post on this forum; I am new to the power industry, focusing on Boilers, HRSGs, and High Energy Piping (B31.1) should anyone ever have questions.
Thanks in advance.
