[Confuse] Mean compressive strength of concrete in EN1992 2

Hi everyone, i have study to design concrete using EN1992 ( Eurocode 2).
I am confusing about f[sub]cm[/sub] (Mean compressive strength of concrete)
1, Follow EN 1992m fcm = fck + 8 Mpa(table 3.1)
2, Folow EN206-2000( Conformity testing for concrete). fck > = fck +4 Mpa ( table 14)
So which is exactly clause i can use for my design conformity for concrete testing. Thank you advance

Ones the average, others actually the mean. Two different things that are not equivalent, use each one as required in respective codes.
 
EN 1992 : for design
EN 206 : for actual tests (these values have to be higher than design values. If not, you have to re-design to check that all calculations conform to the design standards)

Why does fcm in EN1992 is diffrent fcm in EN206? why does they not equivalent ?
Can you explain more to me about that.Unfortunately, i didn't study Eurocode at university.( my country: VietNam do not use Eurocode usually ).
Or you can introduce some book, which show detail how to define fcm in EN1992 and EN206.

EN 1992 : fcm is a theoretical value derived from fck with a formula stated by the Eurocode 2 (EC2). fcm is never used unless for unusual non-linear calculations : that is, forget about it. The only value you have to comply with is fck

EN 206 : all these values are the actual values of the concrete (stated in conformity with statistics formulas) and, as previously said, they have to be always bigger than the EC2 values , that is fck(EN206) > fck(EC2)

further to what said, in case you need to check the concrete after building (assessment in situ), then you can't use EN 206 (you don't have any more the fresh concrete) but you can follow the procedure as per EN 13791
