Dear community,

Recently I received a BOM for a Power Plant designed in South Korea. I have an issue with items described as "ASTM A106-B CS SMLS PE XS/80 (PE.C)" or "ASTM A106-B CS SMLS BE XS/80 (PE.C)", I have never used the (PE.C) descriptor and I am ignorant of its meaning. I've tried looking for it on the web but haven't found anything remotely useful.

I'd appreciate a lot any hint of what that characteristic implies.

Regards,

The only thing that I can think of is PE Coating, but it doesn't make sense for a power plant.

@austsa
Thanks for the comment. I wasn't aware of that characteristic and I'll be checking with the layouts where is this pipe being used.

I've seen it only in pipes and pipe sections. There is not a fitting that has the (PE.C) descriptor.

Regards.
