Helo. I need to connect not scanned, but prepared models. They are just complex and all I want is to merge them for print. Is there a clear tutorial or advice how to make it? Thank you!

Are you saying you want to print more than one model on a page?
If they are part of an assembly you can assemble the models using the assembly feature.
You can also use the assembly feature by treating your models as sub assemblies and importing them to the same page. You can then line them up and print the page. If this is not what you want a little more explanation will help.

You are judged not by what you know, but by what you can do.

Thank you for the reply, Berkshire! I attach the image to clarify the task. Basically it's floating pieces of eometry, created in 3ds max, which I'd like to make a single whole mesh for print.

Ok so what I am getting is that you have imported geometry from another program , using either a step file or IGES format . (Sometimes Geomagic has a hard time with STL. files.),
Now you wish to unite these pieces, Have you tried a Boolean unite ?
There is another forum where you can get help at This forum normally can be accessed through the help button in the start screen of Geomagic Design.

Do you mean boolean unite in Geomagic?

Yes, that's correct you have guessed.

Mister 3d,
I think you have already figured this out , but to be sure, in the ribbon in the "Geomagic Design" screen there is a button marked Boolean . Read the instructions on the use of this.
To Create a Boolean Design Feature
1. Open the blank part.

2. From the Geometry Transform group in the Part Modeling tab, select Feature > Boolean > Subtract (or Unite, or Intersect). The Insert Part/Subassembly dialog box will be displayed.

3. Highlight the part or assembly you wish to use for the tool, then click OK. The part workspace window transforms into the Design Boolean Editor window. Click in the Editor workspace to place the tool. Click Finish when you have the number of copies desired.

a. You can repeat steps 2 and 3 to add as many parts or assemblies as required.

4. Constrain the tool(s) to the blank using the assembly constraints available in the Boolean editor workspace.

5. Click the Commit icon to complete the Boolean feature. The window transforms back into the blank part workspace, and the Boolean feature will be listed as a feature in the design explorer.

Note: If a part or assembly in the tool is hidden in the dedicated assembly, it will not participate in the Design Boolean feature until it is unhidden.

Thank you for help! I will try that and say how it went.
