Connection software

I was wondering what software is the best for calculating steel connections. I've been doing my own excel spreadsheets, but am still looking for a software. Any suggestions.

I don't know what's "best," but I've used Descon with reasonable success. It shows enough calcs so that you can see what it's doing.

Depnds on how frequently & what kind of connections you design. We are using DESCONWIN, DESCONBRACE, RAMCONNECTIONS, & few other spread sheets. If are using RAM programs and integrate connection design then RAMCONNECTION is ideal.
