Hi,

I am having difficulty in using connectors. I have a beam where the load is being applied at two locations. I am trying to model such that load can be applied only at one location rather than two locations on the beam. I have attached a picture. I am trying to apply a single load on RP-3 rather than at two locations on RP which is at the center and the end of the beam. But my model doesn't converge. I am not sure if I am applying connectors correctly or not. Any advice on how to model this will be helpful.

You can't expect help with those information. Is the solid in the final model too? How hare solid and connectors connected. What are the boundary conditions? etc.

Sorry about the delayed reply. Yes the solid is in the final model too. There are two rigid wires which are tied to the solid. The MPC connectors are connected to the RP of those rigid wires. B.C's is such that the x face is fixed at the origin.

I still don't understand what you are trying to do.
When you tie the RPs on the solid, what are then the connectors between them supposed to do?
