My name's Lorenzo,
we have to replace an old controlvalve with a new one.
the vendor of this valve no longer exists and we have to contact another vendor.
we don't have CV of this valve but all this data:
PIGNONE SUD control valve 4" ansi 600 port diameter 2" 1/2

delta P 35 bar
flow 25000m3/h
gas density 0,98 kg/m3

for my calculation the CV shuld be about 60, but i'm not sure we are going to buy a Fisher control valve, wich valve you suggest me?

thank you very much for your attention,
Lorenzo

thank you very much, i missed this web site until now.

cheers

A 4" Fisher ED control valve with reduced trim has a 2 7/8" port which is fairly close to your valve.

It has a full open Cv of 112 which compares nicely with your calculated Cv required of 60. All in all, everything seems to be consistent so far.

thank you,
i thought about model ED but I know that reduced trim was only for EHD,EHS.
This makes me happy, I was on right way.
Thank you again friends
