converting vibratory soil "drum" compactor to vertical static load

Caterpillar VIBRATORY SOIL COMPACTORS CS10 GC has Centrifugal Force of 6200 lbf. How do I convert this to an approximate vertical static force.

It's tempting (based on the info given in the specs) to start plugging and chugging......but I'd contact them to understand what is what. Just tell them what you are after......or get them to clarify exactly what their centrifugal force and amplitudes are.

Apparently Centrifugal Force - Maximum 56200 lbf not 6200 lbf and i assume you are looking the force that the soil surface will experience .

I will suggest you to look to the following BOMAG doc. and get the concept before contact with manufacturer or sales representative of Caterpillar VIBRATORY SOIL COMPACTOR .
