hello Friends
it was glad to have replies from you for clearing my doubts.
I have a question with the orientattion of the coordinate system.
firstly my question is that can we change the orientation of the coordinate system as we like even before starting drawing.
i.e. in front view we get an x-y plane but what i wanted xand -ve z plane. is it possible to make such changes.
secondly i have created all my part files in normal coordinate system and assembled them. now i want to them to have orientation of the coordinate system in different direction. can i change the coordinate orientation without any changes in the model. or even rotate the model such that i get the required coordinate system.
I thought atleast in assembly mode i could change the orientation but not able to. i tried rotating the first part but it doesnt rotate.
can you kindly help me out.
actually i want to calculate the center of mass and intertia properties along this new axes direction.
and want to locate the coordinate system fixed at the coordinate system.
thanking you
Regards
Kartik
