I am using UGNX in native mode and I have approx. 1000 part files of a large assembly. I want an easy way to copy subassemblies and their components from the main directory and into a separate directory, directly from UG.

Use assembly cloning.

Copy once with a prefix into your new directory, copy again stripping off the prefix. This will give you your original file names but in the new directory structure.

There is a UGPC->Zip program from someone in Germany that will make a zip file of an assembly and all of its components. Here is the link:

Hi,
I have a problem with the history icons in the navigator.
When I moved some of the files from one folder to another, I lost the icons in the navigator. How can I link the history to the new location?

Thanks
