try googling on "coade casear training uk". While there are some 1890 hits, the first few look like they would meet your needs.

Hi All,

I am a piping engineer with 3 years of experience and I am interested to learn CEASAR II for pipe stress analysis. I am unable to attend any seminar.
I have the reference books "Piping Support Systems by Paul Smith and THomas Van" . I have a basic understanding of stress analysis.
But I dont know how to use CEASARII. This software is installed in my office and I am unable to use. Is there any CEASAR manual that explains step by step on how to use the software.
If any of you who have attended the COADE or any other seminars can you please share the training materials or provide any links on google will help.
I will appreciate your response and thanks in advance

Thank you very much and Thank you to persons who initiated this forum

Please be aware that there is a forum on this website that deals excusively with CII and related stress analysis issues.

It is titled "COADE, Inc.: CAESAR II"

You may find useful information there.

ALL,

Thank you all for the useful information you have provided in response to my request for CEASAR II training.
I have gone through the help/ User, Technical, Application guides online and found the material helpful.
Also the examples in Application guide are very clear.

I have one question- What is the criteria for dynamic analysis. I know that for siesmic case(CA siesmic zone) dynamic analysis needs to be performed.
But if I have to do dynamic analysis do I have to do static analysis initially.
Since I am learning I am asking this question.

Thanks in advance and once again all the members on this site are very professional.

"But if I have to do dynamic analysis do I have to do static analysis initially."

From a "numerical point of view", no. However, if you don't perform the static analysis first, you won't know if your system is over stressed or over loaded. Why spend time and resourses in the dynamic arena if the static situation is unacceptable?

..a dynamic run start starts from a static run.

At the end it shall also be re-confirmed by a static run...
Most of the time the reuirements for piping flexibility are opposite if not contradictory to the requirements imposed by a dynamic one.

It least my experience !!

May somebody help me to decide if stainless steel piping need stainless steel plate welded to Galvanized Carbon steel piperack when laying down on it.
