I use Inventor quite a bit, and in that you can create a pattern that you could select a part, let's say a support beam between two parts... and tell it to pattern that beam 10 times, with 20mm in between each one.

Is this possible in Edge? I know you can pattern things like hardware to holes, but that's not what I'm trying to do.

I believe you can do this using a sketch as the 'part containing the pattern'. Or maybe the sketch has to be in a sub part - sorry I think I've done this once or twice but not recently.

Posting guidelines faq731-376 (probably not aimed specifically at you)

An assembly level sketch will work as the pattern definition.
