Curves & Text Added At Drafting Level Not Showing In Drawing View? 1

We recently upgraded from NX7.5 to NX11 and I have a question about lines/curves/text that I added on the Modeling side of the Drafting Application (Display Sheet off.) not showing up in the view(s) I insert onto the face of the drawing. I already know about the Layers Visible In View, having the layers selectable, and Model Vs View Dependent so I know that is not the issue here.

I have added a simply wireframe and text plumbing schematic on the XY plane in the Drafting Application with the Display Sheet off. I added these lines and text notes on a layer that was currently not being utilized. I also made sure that all the added lines and text was Model and not View Dependent.

I go to the drawing (Display Sheet) and make sure the layer I added the lines and text on is Visible In View, but they do not display.

I know I was able to do this in NX7.5, but no matter what I try in NX11 I am unable to get this plumbing schematic to show.

Any help with this would be appreciated, thank you in advance,
Gary Ashby

I suspect that the drafting base view you added was coming from the model file rather than the drawing file. When you place a base view, expand the "part" section of the dialog and make sure the drawing is the selected part; otherwise, the view from the model file will be used (which doesn't contain the geometry you added).

You can use "info -> object" on an existing view to see what part it is referencing.
