Hi!
I joined here today when I found this thread on google thread790-216671.
But as the it ends with information sent on email or such it was not much help.
So I wonder if I can take this question up again.
How do I create a custom synchronous belt in Inventor 2010?

Regards David

You have to create a custom xml file. You might be able to start with one that is similar, create a copy, then modify the code. You can find the data base here (by default in Windows 7):

C:\Users\Public\Documents\Autodesk\Inventor 2010\Design Data\Design Accelerator\Tables\SBelts\Belts

or where ever you keep your design data.

So it isn't as easy as modifying a spreadsheet but there is a way if you are comfortable with xml code.

Ok, read about that somewhere before.
Just needed to make sure that it was the way to go.
I'm somewhat confy with XML, more unsure if I can give the file what it asks for:D
Thanks for your reply.

regards David
